Elisa McKay, self-taught artist, interprets themes of family, community and celebration with her distinctive African-Caribbean collages. The daughter of Crucian parents, Ogese and Hedi McKay, she was born in Harlem, New York and in 1978 moved to St. Croix with her daugher Ayanna. Her father, Ogese, was a musician and artist.
